● SightFirst Hole-in-One Shootout · September
Recruit sponsors and work flexible shifts at the registration tent.
● Breakfast with Santa · December
Join the Lion Grill Team, conduct the Lions Santa Express, or help with registration, Santa’s photo booth, food service, and set up.
● Easter Egg Festival · The Saturday before Easter
Games and prizes for every age group, a raffle, hotdog lunches, a petting zoo, and photos with the Easter Bunny.
● Vision Screening Services · As needed
Provide free vision screening for children and adults in our community.
● Lions Eyeglass Recycling Center · The 5th Saturday every year
Evaluate, clean, and catalog donated eyeglasses at the Watauga Recycling Center.
● Texas Lions Camp Work Weekend · First weekend in April or May
Help split firewood in Kerrville for the nightly summer bonfires at Texas Lions Camp.

What you'd be joining
The Colleyville Lions Club was chartered on June 1, 1982. It is club 41446 in Texas Lions District 2-E2, Zone 6, and it meets every Friday from 7:00 to 8:00 a.m. at Crown of Life Lutheran Church.
It is also one club inside Lions International — 1.4 million members serving in more than 200 countries and geographic areas since 1917.

How to start
1. Come to a Friday breakfast
Breakfast at 6:45 a.m., meeting 7:00 to 8:00 a.m. Crown of Life Lutheran Church, 6605 Pleasant Run Rd. Visitors are welcome at any meeting.
2. Talk to people
Ask what they work on. Ask what the club needs. An hour of that will tell you more than any page on this site.
3. Say you're interested
Lions membership is by invitation from a local club, and the invitation follows the conversation. Membership is open to adults of legal majority and good reputation in the community.

What the club will ask of you
- Show up on Friday mornings when you can.
- Take a shift at an event or a service project.
- Report your service hours to club leadership — that is what qualifies the club for grants.
- Bring someone. Family, friends, a neighbour: to a service activity or to a meeting.
