The club's part in it.

Three things, every year. Colleyville Lions encourage local families to apply for their children to attend camp. The club donates funds annually to help operate and improve the camp. And members drive down for volunteer work weekends, where the club gets together for dinner on Friday night and Saturday night.

Referring a camper.

Families can learn more or refer a camper at lionscamp.com. The camp can be reached at (830) 896-8500 or (830) 896-3666, or at tlc@lionscamp.com. A Colleyville Lion can help a family through the sponsorship side of it.

[VERIFY: camper age range and the detailed application steps, including which signatures the form requires. The district page does not publish them and they should be confirmed at the camp before this page states them.]

Why a service club runs a camp.

It is the cleanest version of what Lions do. A child who cannot go to an ordinary camp goes to this one, the family pays nothing, and the money comes from clubs like this one holding pancake breakfasts and golf tournaments in towns hundreds of miles away.
